How we handle information

Privacy, in plain language.

This policy explains the information Legal Lead Co handles when you visit this website, schedule a conversation, or otherwise contact us.

The short versionWe use information to operate the site, respond to you, schedule conversations, and measure advertising. We do not sell personal information. If you arrive from a paid ad, we may share limited technical identifiers (and, when you book, limited booking details) with advertising platforms such as Meta and Google so we can measure and improve those ads. California residents can opt out of that sharing as described below.

Information we handle

We handle information in a few limited ways:

Information you choose to provide

When you schedule a conversation or contact us, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, company, market or location, calendar availability, and any details you choose to include in your message.

Technical information

Our hosting, security, analytics, and advertising-measurement providers may process standard technical data such as IP address, browser and device information, pages requested, referring page, timestamps, security events, and click or campaign identifiers that an ad platform appends to a link (including utm_*, gclid, fbclid, msclkid, gbraid, and wbraid). This helps deliver the site, prevent abuse, diagnose reliability issues, and attribute a visit or booking to the ad that referred you.

Payment and sensitive information

Legal Lead Co does not collect payment-card information through this website. Please do not send Social Security numbers, medical information, account passwords, or other highly sensitive information through a booking note or email.

How we use information

We use information to respond to requests, schedule conversations, evaluate whether a potential engagement is a fit, operate and secure the website, measure and improve advertising, and meet legal or recordkeeping obligations. We do not use information from this website to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

When we share information

We may share information with service providers that help us host the site, provide scheduling or communications tools, secure our systems, measure website and advertising performance, or support business operations. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business transaction. These providers may handle information only as needed for their services and under their own applicable terms.

We do not sell personal information for money. When we run paid ads, we may share limited personal information with advertising platforms for cross-context behavioral advertising and measurement, as described in Advertising measurement. That sharing is the California “share” you can opt out of below. It is a change from the prior version of this page, which said we did not share for that purpose.

Advertising measurement

Legal Lead Co is a business-to-business service. Paid ads, when we run them, are aimed at law-firm and other business audiences, not at injured workers seeking a lawyer. This section describes how advertising measurement works on this website; it is not legal advice and does not describe consumer-injury advertising.

We may use a first-party Legal Lead Co Meta (Facebook/Instagram) pixel and, later, Meta’s Conversions API, plus Google tags already on the site, to record page views and booking-related events. Browser and server events may include a shared event identifier so the same booking is not counted twice. If you book a conversation, we may send hashed contact details you provided (such as email or phone) to the advertising platform solely to match the visit to the ad click and to measure whether the ad led to a scheduled intro call.

Click identifiers such as fbclid and gclid may be preserved into our scheduling tool so the appointment record can be tied to the referring campaign. We do not reuse another brand’s Meta pixel on this site.

Your choices and requests

You can choose not to provide optional information. You may also ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable law and reasonable verification. If a scheduling or communications provider holds information directly, you may need to make a request through that provider as well.

California residents may have additional rights under California privacy law, including the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make that request, write to the mailing address in the Contact section below and include the subject “Do not sell or share.” You can also use the advertising-platform controls published by Meta and Google for their own ads. Eligibility for a specific request depends on the applicable law and the information involved. A browser cookie banner is not required for the first-party analytics already on this site; if a Meta pixel is published on the public domain, we will honor documented opt-out requests and may add a more visible opt-out control before that publish.

Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the information we handle. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including to resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and maintain business records.

Third-party services and links

This website may link to or embed third-party services, including a scheduling tool. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices. We encourage you to read those notices before providing information through those services.

Children

This website is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our website or information practices change. When we do, we will post the updated version here and revise the effective date above.
